Shoes :)

What is your food weakness?

Chips, popcorn, pretzels... If it is salty and crunchy then I am there!  (Or jellybeans ;))

What is your go to movie to watch when nothing is on?

It really depends what kind of a mood I am in but if I can only pick one then probably Knight and Day. 

What is your go to breakfast food?

Yogurt and some kind of fruit or, an omelette and some kind of fruit.

Do you drink coffee? If so how do you take it?

Sometimes... and for all the Canadiens out there I take it double double ;)


Heading south tomorrow for an appointment with my surgeon...  Fingers crossed!

Real Beauty - Dove

So, I know that this is an advertising campaign and I hear the people out there who are saying that this feels a bit contrived, or that Dove is really Unilever who is also Axe and that that is a problem, and I am not saying that is not true. 

But.  This is a powerful thing and nothing anyone can say will change that, and the reason it was made will not change that.  I think that this is a real wake up call to women.  If we are harder on ourselves than our worst critics will ever be, how will we able to stand up to those critics when they try to slam us down?  And how can we make a voice for ourselves when we need it if deep down inside we believe the lie that we are not worth it because we are not beautiful enough?  Because that is really what it boils down to. 

what I'm listening to right now... (study edition)

So.  I have been studying a lot lately...  You know, exams and such :P  Anyway, the music that I listen to when I study is different than the music that I listen to when I just want to listen to music (which is what I normally put on here).  So, I thought that I would share :)

And in other news... I am going to my first ever formal tonight and I am SUPER excited! :)

Easter egg nails

So because it was Easter last weekend and I actually had time to sit down and do my nails (gasp*), I thought I would branch out a bit and do some Easter egg inspired nails.   What do you think?  I ended up really liking them :)

Sometimes when you are having one of those days (or one of those moments) you just need to have some chocolate.  Because let's face it, chocolate doesn't make things better but sometimes it sure does help.

1. Favorite type of work out to do?

Dance!  Also, recently found Blogilates on youtube and I have really been enjoying that :)  

This one kicks my butt :)

2. Favorite guilty pleasure candy or sweet?
I don't think I have anything specific...  If I had to pick probably jelly beans or chocolate... I like me some chocolate :)  (And Smartfood! Even though it is not candy, I loooove that stuff)

3. What is one thing you continuously forget to do?

Shave my legs.  All the time in the winter.  But not so much in the summer... maybe it is more of a 'not caring' than a 'forgetting' :)   

4. Posts its or phone reminders? Why?

Both.  Because actually writing  it down helps me to remember, but my phone will beep at me and a post-it won't.

5. Favorite picture currently on your phone that always makes you smile?

80's bowling night :)
